Major Italian ISP Selects Sangoma Technologies S5141
Card To Connect Italian Government Offices

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Apr 15, 2004) -

- Linux-based solution enables Clio S.r.l. to deploy quickly and
affordably -

With over 20 years of engineering and technical expertise,
Sangoma Technologies Corporation (TSXV: STC) (www.sangoma.com), a
leading provider of connectivity hardware and software products
for WANs and Internet infrastructure, has been selected by Clio
S.r.l. (www.clio.it), one of the oldest Internet service
providers in Italy, to provide its S5141 PCI Dual Port Cards.

Clio, a provider of Internet connectivity, outsourcing,
consulting, Voice over Internet Protocol, satellite data
transfers and distance learning to southern and central Italy,
chose Sangoma's S5141 card to connect Italy's public sector
government offices with the country's Public Administration's
European Union financed private network (RUPAR).

"Sangoma cards made perfect sense for us in large part due to the
quality of the drivers, Linux support and the performance we
achieved during our extensive testing," says Clio associate
Oreste Dimaggio. "Using Sangoma cards and a Linux PC we obtained
the same if not better results as a traditional router solution
for half the price."

Clio selected Sangoma as part of an ongoing project with RUPAR to
provide secure networking services. One of the Administration's
requirements is to deploy a firewall and proxy service through a
V.35 connection in every Public Administration office.

Clio expects to recoup implementation costs of the Sangoma cards
within six months.

"Clio is an excellent example of how Sangoma cards, coupled with
a Linux-based PC, is a logical alternative to a traditional
router deployment," says Sangoma Technologies president and CEO
David Mandelstam. "Our S5141 card enables Clio to deploy a single
combination router and firewall solution, saving costs, clutter
and complexity."

Sangoma Technologies' current solution set includes:

- High performance and reliable communications modules for OEM
projects involving ATM, Frame Relay, X.25, SS7, HDLC, BiSync and
other protocols

- WANPIPE(R) internal high performance IP routing solutions over
T1, E1, ADSL and serial links

- The WAN Edukit(TM) protocol teaching tool for educational
institutions

- POS (Point-of-Sale) interface cards for security and customer
loyalty applications
