Teleca Selects Sangoma Technologies for SS7 Support

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 8, 2004) - 

- Sangoma's cards and SS7 stack to be built into Teleca's new products

Sangoma Technologies Corporation (TSXV:STC) (www.sangoma.com), a leading 
provider of connectivity hardware and software products for WANs and 
Internet infrastructure, and Teleca Wireless Solutions AS 
(www.teleca.com) of Grimstad, Norway, announce an agreement to use 
Sangoma's PCI WAN cards to support the SS7 telephony interfaces in their 
product offerings.

SS7 (Signaling System 7) is a line protocol used to support an 
international high speed signaling backbone for the public switched 
telephone network (PSTN). Sangoma's SS7 stack is supported by Sangoma's 
advanced technology A101 and A102 series PCI cards and provides user 
level Application Program Interfaces that allow users to easily 
implement SS7 related projects.

Sangoma's SS7 support will be incorporated into new products being 
developed by Teleca and is expected to result in significant sales by 
Sangoma of hardware and software licenses in calendar 2005.

- High performance and reliable communications modules for OEM projects 
involving ATM, Frame Relay, X.25, SS7, HDLC, BiSync and other protocols

- The WAN Edukit(TM) protocol teaching tool for educational institutions

- POS (Point-of-Sale) interface cards for security and customer loyalty 
applications
