Sangoma Technologies Announces Record Third Quarter Results

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - May 24, 2005) -

Sales of $1,069,843 yield net income of $287,648 for the quarter ended March 31, 2005

TORONTO - May 24, 2005- Sangoma Technologies Corporation (TSX VENTURE:STC) (www.sangoma.com), a leading provider of connectivity hardware and software products supporting voice transport, WANs and Internet infrastructure, today released highlights of its unaudited results for the quarter ended March 31, 2005.

The Company reported sales for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 of $1,069,843 as compared with $507,843 for the quarter ended March 31, 2004, an increase of 116%. The quarter's sales are an all-time record for the company and represent an increase of 19% over the sales for the previous quarter, which were also a record.

After taking into account current and future income taxes, the net income was $287,648 ($0.011 per share) as compared to a loss of $19,415 for the quarter ended March 31, 2004.

"As these results indicate, we are beginning to see real returns from our investments in voice and VoIP technology as we continue to position ourselves for growth," says Sangoma Technologies President and CEO David Mandelstam. "Sales of our data products are also increasing as long-delayed projects are now being implemented by many of our customers."

Operating cash flow before changes in non-cash working capital was $514,414 in the quarter ended March 31, 2005 as compared to $160,086 in the quarter ended March 31, 2004. The Company's working capital balance was $1,595,381 at March 31, 2005 as compared to $1,373,900 on June 30, 2004.
