Wanpipe® and Sangoma's internal WAN cards add WAN router functionality without degrading other workstation or server applications.
Connection Options
- Single channel direct using the A101 card.
- Dual channel direct using the A102 card.
- Quad channel direct using the A104 card.
- Broadband ADSL links using Sangoma's S518 card.

Protocols
Wanpipe® uses Sangoma's own laboratory tested and certified WAN protocol stacks, not open source WAN implementations. Supported protocols include:
- ATM UNI with unlimited VPIs, VCIs per port.
- Frame Relay RFC 1490 or RFC 1294, with unlimited DLCIs per port.
- PPP RFC 1661, 1332, 1552, 1321, 1334.
- Cisco HDLC.
- X.25 RFC 1356.
- Plus other line protocols for non-IP support.
Operating Systems

Compatibility
Wanpipe® connects to all standard third party routers. Strict compliance with IETF, IEE, ISO and ITU standards ensure trouble-free interconnections.
Management utilities:
- SNMP support, including full Frame Relay MIB set.
- Windows SNMP support through the Windows Performance Monitor.
- Self configuration of T1/E1 parameters, ADSL parameters and Frame Relay parameters allows for easy setup in unknown environments.
- Sangoma's WanpipeMON tools provide engineering level debugging tools, ensuring that complicated WAN problems can be isolated quickly.
- Raw and interpreted real time line traces.
- Installation, management and debugging tools leverage existing operating tools such as ifconfig and the /proc file system under Linux, and the Performance Monitor under Windows. There is no need to learn separate router commands.
- Informative event logs provided.
- Communication status lights supported through the keyboard status LCDs.
- Wanpipe® can be set up in back-to-back configurations for off-net testing.
